Greetings family members!!! You know, we have some mighty fine people heading our organization. They give of their time and means willingly for the progress and betterment of the organization. It has been brought to the attention of the editors of this publication of the desire and intention of the Presidency toward purchasing a copy machine. They have made arrangements to get a used machine for $100. Since they felt that with our $2.00 subscription rate and $2.00 organization dues, it would be too much to petition funds from the family. So the four of them have taken it upon themselves to pay for the machine. We all know how burdeneous an amount of $100 can be upon the shoulders of a few — but we also know how light that burden can become if shares with many.
So, if your pocketbook agrees, any contribution to the cause would, I am sure, be appreciated. Since this is not a required donation the amount is entirely up to you. Do as you see fit. This is offered merely as a suggestion to those of you who can, and would like to contribute.
By purchasing a machine of our own, the cost of publication in the long run can be kept at a minimum. Send any remittance to the Editor –

And please designate its intended use.
Max Lambertson, our secretary, and his wife, JoAnne, have rented a farm in Aurora and are moving there soon, to farm together with his father, Otto Lambertson.
This means we will be losing a dandy secretary. We hate to see him leave the Presidency, but wish him the best of luck in his new venture. May to you go the appreciation and gratitude of the Presidency for the fine job you have done.
Sincerely, The Editors
