JOHN THOMPSON ROWLEY AND JANE PAUL FAMILY:
Reported by Luke Day and wife, Marjorie
Basil and Eldra Mounton, accompanied by a son and daughter-in-law, A. Levere and Eiko Moulton and two small grandsons, spent a week hunting the elusive sunshine. They found plenty of it down in Phoenix, Arizona. They went down by way of Boulder and spent a few days in Phoenix and came back by way of the Petrified Forest.
Rollan J. Day and wife, Gertrude took a vacation trip to California, mainly to visit some of Gertrude’s relatives. They stopped at Congress Junction, near Phoenix, Arizona to visit Rollan’s sister Verda Hotchkiss. Bill and Verda came to Utah in June, we hope to settle permanently again. They have been in Arizona for a number of years now, dealing in gems and Indian and Mexican relics and figurines. They have their own little gift shop on the highway.
Rollan and Gertrude made a stop in Salina to visit another sister and her husband, Otto and Lillian Lambertsen. We were happy to hear that Lillian who has been under doctor’s care for some time, looks and feels much better.
Rollan, Verda and Lillian are all children of Elizabeth Jane Rowley Day, a daughter of John T. Rowley and Jane Paul.
