History: Caroline Webb

On 31 January 1865, when Caroline was 13 years old, her half-brother Richard Oscar was born in Nephi.

John, Caroline’s half-brother, was born 3 October 1866 when she was 15 years old. He was born in Nephi.

Caroline’s youngest half-sister, Zelnora, was born when she was 16 on 28 September 1867 in Nephi.

Annette Elizabeth died when Caroline was 18 years old on 21 May 1869. Annette Elizabeth was only 8 years old at the time of her death. Caroline’s half-brother, Charles, was also born when she was 18 on 26 June 1869. He was born in Nephi.

On 22 July 1871, when Caroline was 20, her youngest half-brother, Thomas Henry, was born in Nephi.

When Caroline was 20 years old, she completed her initiatory and endowment ordinances and then was married and sealed for time and eternity to Charles Henry Sperry, age 20, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Endowment House, which is located at 50 North West Temple in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.

Caroline gave birth to her first child, a son, when she was 21 years old on 7 December 1872. They named him Charles Alonzo and he was born in Nephi.

Arthur David, Caroline’s 2nd son, was born 30 October 1874 when she was 23 years old. He was also born in Nephi. 

On 27 August 1876, Caroline gave birth to her first daughter in Nephi. She was named Emily Esther.

Caroline gave birth to twin daughters when she was 28 years old on 15 June 1879 in Nephi. They named the twins Jeanette and Jeanevery. Tragically, Jeanevery died when she was 8 months old on 22 February 1880. She died by accidental suffocation when sleeping in the same bed as her mother and twin sister.

Henry Melvin, Caroline’s 3rd and last son, was born in Nephi on 29 January 1881 when she was 29 years old.

Amelia Emily died when Caroline was 30 years old on 15 February 1882 in Nephi. She was 35 years old at the time of her death.
