History: Jens Rosenquist Nelson

When Jens Rosenquist was 36 years old, his daughter, Ella Karn was born in Efveröd. She was born on 31 January 1897. Sadly she died on 30 July 1897, when she was 5 months old, in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Utah, United States.

Effie Druscilla, Jens Rosenquist’s youngest daughter, was born when he was 37 years old, on 4 April 1898 in Pleasant Grove.

Jens Rosenquist’s father (Nils (Neils) Olson) died at the age of 77 on 30 August 1901 in Efveröd. Jens Rosenquist was 41 years old at the time. 

On 2 July 1908, when Jens Rosenquist was 47 years old, his mother (Karna Palmgreen Anderson) died in Efveröd at the age of 84.

When Jens Rosenquist was 49 years old, he completed his initiatory and endowment ordinances and was sealed for time and eternity to his wife (Elsa Nelson) on 1 September 1909. The ordinances were completed in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints’ Salt Lake Utah Temple, which is located at 50 North West Temple in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States. He was sealed to his parents the next day in the same temple.

Nels Rosenquist died at the age of 31 in Pleasant Grove on 21 August 1914. Jens Rosenquist was 54 years old at the time of his death.

Jens Rosenquist’s sister, Hanna, died in July 1916 at the age of 64. Jens Rosenquist was 56 years old at the time. 

Nels, Jens Rosenquist’s brother, died at the age of 52 years old in Hommentorp, Skåne, Sweden when Jens Rosenquist was 60 years old. 

Ola died at the age of 77 in Efveröd on 4 March 1927. Jens Rosenquist was 66 years old at the time of Ola’s death.

In October 1928, when Jens Rosenquist was 68 years old, Anders died at the age of 73.

Jens Rosenquist’s wife died at the age of 72 on 13 March 1931 in Pleasant Grove. He was 70 years old at the time of her death and they had been married for 48 years.

When Jens Rosenquist was 77 years old, his son John Rosenquist died at the age of 49. He died on 2 August 1937 in Pleasant Grove.
