November 1, 1896 (Sunday) – I didn’t go to Sunday School. In The afternoon, I went to meeting. We had a lovely meeting. President Woodruff and Apostle Treasdale being there. While in meeting, I want to sit by Zina Sorenson, I had barely got seated when someone touched me on the arm. I turned and a lady said “How is my little girl doing, my little Aurilla which is under your care.” I looked at her dumbfounded and she said “Oh. Excuse me, I thought you were Miss Robinson”. Zina whispered to me, “Why she is 24 years old”. After meeting Lil Black and I went up to Burton’s. We had supper and spent the evening there.
November 2, 1896 (Monday) – I went to school. In the evening, Esther called for me and we went over to our class in the Academy, but there wasn’t one. We went down town to listen to some lovely music and then came back up to grandmother’s. I went over to Aunt Sarah Abbott’s for a while.
November 3, 1896 (Tuesday) – There wasn’t any school. In the evening, I went up to Burton’s and got ready for the dance, Esther, Mrs. Burton, Lil Black and I went to the dance with father. Esther and I played the organ. I earned $1.50 and had a good times besides. I slept to Burton’s.
November 4, 1896 (Wednesday) – I went to school. At noon, I went down to the post office with May Grover. I went over to Grandma Sperry’s for lunch and found Art there. He is here on a few days visit. In the evening, Min and I went over to the merry-go-round just west of the park. Bob McCune was there and he gave Min and I ride, we rode twice and then Bob and I had a ride. We stayed on again and Min and John Kendall had a ride also. Bob walked up to Grandma Sperry’s with me.
November 5, 1896 (Thursday) – I went to school, in the afternoon I went to the dentists and had three teeth pulled. Toward evening, I went down to the drug store for some Arnica, Aunt Emma Hague suggested me getting it for a wash for my mouth and it proved very good.
November 6, 1896 (Friday) – In the afternoon I went over to the dentists shop and had two teeth filled and one more pulled. I came back and went to school. Art came up from the farm and we came down home with him.
November 7, 1896 (Saturday & Sunday) – I stayed home both days
November 9, 1896 (Monday) – In the afternoon I went up town with Art. I went over to school house and then up to Burton’s. Esther and I went down to the Excelsor, then over to the drug store and purchased some carbolic acid. We went over to Hydes Store and back over to the Excelsor. Art and I came down home.
November 10, 1896 (Tuesday) – I was home all day. Father and Art went over to Manti. Esther came out home.
November 11, 1896 (Wednesday) – Was home all day
November 12, 1896 (Thursday) – I walked up town and went to Uncle Enoch Bowles’ choir practice. Oscar Lunt took me home from practice. I slept to Aunt Sarah Abbott’s.
November 13, 1896 (Friday) – In the forenoon, I visited the school. At noon, I went down to the post office with May. I went up to Aunt Sarah’s then down to the store for her. In the afternoon, I went down to our new meeting house in the North Ward to a grand dinner. After dinner, May and I went over to Miss Morgan’s then I came up to Aunt Sarah’s to get ready for the dance. Father, Art and Esther went and left me so I had to go with Aunt Sarah and Min Abbott. After I reached there I had to go back to Grandma’s, May Grover and Birdie Goldbrough went with me. After the dance Father, Esther and I came down home.
November 14, 1896 (Saturday) – About two o’clock, I walked up town, I went to Grandma Sperry’s then down to the new meeting house. I helped Grandpa Sperry play for the kiddies while they danced. Afterwards, May Grover and I went over to the post office. I went up to Burton’s and had supper. Mrs. Burton and I went down to the store. Esther and I went to the dance with Father. Art went back to Mammoth.
November 15, 1896 (Sunday) – I took Lillian and Pearl and drove to Hyrum Kienke’s. Afterwards, I wrote a letter Leah Reid.
November 16, 1896 (Monday) – Was home all day. Father went to Eureka.
November 18, 1896 (Wednesday) – Mother and Melvin went up town. Mother surprised me by bringing me a new coat.
November 19, 1896 (Thursday) – Father and I went up town. We went up to Burton’s. Esther had two letters for me, one from Bessie Sperry and the other from May Reid. Esther and I went down to Hydes Store and to the Excelsor. I went up to Burton’s, down to Grandma Sperry’s and then out home.
November 22, 1896 (Sunday) – In the afternoon, Esther and I went up town, we stopped at Grandma Sperry’s and went down to the post office and then over to the school house. Mr. Brown helped me to get some examples then I went up to Burton’s. Esther and I went down to the Excelsor and then to Hydes store, up to Grandma Sperry’s and then out home.
November 22, 1896 (Sunday) – In the afternoon, Esther and I went up town. We stopped at Grandma Sperry’s and I went down to the post office and then over to Aunt Emma Hague’s. I came back to Aunt Emily Black’s. Later I met Esther, she told me Uncle Pete Christensen and family were up to Aunt Lucy Webb’s, I went up there to see them. It had been over two years since I had seen them. Esther came there and then we came out down.

November 25, 1896 (Wednesday) – In the morning, Esther and I went up town. We stopped at Grandma Sperry’s. I went down to Hyde’s Store. I returned to Grandmother’s and then went down home. In the afternoon, I again went up town in the buggy to bring Esther home. I went up to Burton’s but Esther was not there. I just stayed long enough to receive a sweet little message she had for me, then I went down to Grandmother’s and Esther and I came back home.
November 26, 1896 (Thursday) – Thanksgiving Day. We remained home all day it was too stormy for us to go up town for the dance. I did not go up town until December first. I wrote a letter to Bessie Sperry.
