1947 (Wednesday) – Housecleaned the little closet under the stairway. Went to the bank and over to the Library. Found where Aaron and Joy Sperry were living in Johnson Township, Trumbull county, Ohio in 1820. There were two males under ten and two females under ten besides the parents, who were between 26 and 45 years of age in Aaron’s family.
In Joy’s family, there was one male (John Wesley Sperry) and three females (Mary Ann, Elizabeth Lamont and Phoebe Sperry) under age and the parents (Joy and Mary Lamont) between 26 and 45 years of age.
This was in the 1820 census and may be our Joy and his brother Aaron*.
This was not Joy’s brother Aaron as children’s ages do not match. Possible other relative.
