1947 (Tuesday) – I had to go to Relief Meeting at one o’clock to meet with those interested in the Blue Cross. They are planning to include doctor’s fee in the insurance.  At two o’clock we held a teacher’s report meeting and testimony. It was very good indeed, the teacher’s topic was on faith.

Found there were several Mansfield emigrant ancestors came over here in the sixteen hundreds. One Robert (Robert Mansfield) who settled at Lynn, Mass. and our Richard (Richard Mansfield) who settled in Conn.
