1947 (Thursday) – Between Mary (Mary Etta George) and Mrs. George (Catherine Ellen Rosser) they gave my hair a permanent with some kind of a solution, it was quite a new experience for me. I remained home all day except for a little ride up Emigration Canyon to see the new monument that was dedicated today by President George Albert Smith, “This is the Place”. It is a beautiful monument.
Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.), Mary, Lillian (Lillian Lunt), Mrs. George and two sisters have all gone out to the Fair Grounds.
