1947 (Thursday) – In the evening, Sister Smith and I dressed in our pioneer outfit and attended a meeting of The Daughters of The Pioneers, held at the homes of Mrs. Durham and Mrs. Ward. We enjoyed ourselves. Howard R. Driggs was the speaker. Refreshments were served in the home of Mrs. Ward, but Sister Smith and I came home after the program.
