1947 (Friday) – In the afternoon I went up to the doctor’s office. He thinks my leg is doing quite nicely, wants me to exercise it more. My blood pressure was up to 180, so that’s got to come down, perhaps the shock of my fall caused it to go up. He said that more than likely did it.
