1947 (Monday) – Darlene (Darlene Lunt Holman) is 14 years old today.
Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) was home all day today as it is Arbor Day. This morning as Oscar (Alfred Oscar Lunt) was coming into home from work, his car was struck by our neighbor, Bailey, as he was backing out from where he parks his car by Smith’s garage. He works out to Murray. Earl took the car out there to see if they could fix it, but they were too busy to take care of it until next Thursday. Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) and I went to a show “Alexander’s Rag Time Band”. I came home after doing some shopping and Eva went up to the Clinic.
