1947 (Thursday) – Eva’s (Eva Ruth Lunt) husband’s (George Thornton Holman) parents (George Eber Holman and Alice Menetta Thornton) with their granddaughter JoAnn (JoAnn Crus) called for Eva shortly after eight o’clock to take her home. She is looking and feeling very well and so glad to think that all of her bad experience is of the past. Instead of yet to be faced.
I went up to the Library and returned some books Eva had taken out, then down to the bank, the market and home. This morning I planted some four o’clock and Balsam seeds just east of our house. Cleaned front room closet.
