1947 (Thursday) – My, this afternoon is hot, but I guess we should expect it. Lillian (Lillian Lunt) has gone over to the Tabernacle grounds to an organ recital. Last night Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) kept me awake a good deal of the time and I’m certainly stupid today.
In early evening, our ward teachers came. We talked to them on the porch as it was cooler and Father was out there. We then came in and they administered to Father. He slept nearly all night long and I had the best sleep I have had since he came home.
