1947 (Friday) – Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) phones to find out how Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and I were feeling. She said she started to business school at the LDS School to study typing. I phoned to Bert’s (Charles Gilbert Lunt). The children (Patricia Jean, Mary Elizabeth, Robert Gordon and Judith Ann Lunt) are feeling better now, but Agnes (Agnes Coalter Golightly) is still very miserable. I advised her to give up every kind of work, but her home work for this winter so she can relax and try to gain her health back again.
Wendell Jones phoned this evening to find out how we were, said he is going to bring his wife and come down to see us some evening.
