1947 (Saturday) – Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took his first trip from home since being ill. Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) took him down to the Rasmusson Barber shop to get a shave and hair cut, my but those are things are expensive now, one dollar for a hair cut and seventy five cents for a shave.
Dad seemed to be happy over his getting out, but felt very tired. If only he would keep going a little, maybe he would soon get stronger.
Sister Hunter, a friend of Sister Smith’s, came in to see me. Edna (Edna Viola Nelson) and Grace (Grace Viola Harper) came in for a little while.
