1947 (Monday) – We have had a nice rain, but it is lovely weather now, just a typical Indian Summer. I have been working in the garden this afternoon gathering out the weeds. Brother Robbins tore down the old lace vine a few days ago. Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) helped him load it and he and his son hauled it all away. It sure makes a difference in our place. Lillian (Lillian Lunt) is getting along remarkably well.
