Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1895 (Thursday) – Dwight Sparks’ (Charles Dwight Sparks) and I went down to Kienke’s on horseback for some butter, I rode back to Sunday School and Dwight took the horse’s home. I remained there and at noon went down to Kienke’s for dinner, in the afternoon George Soby came down and later Richard Bale and Eliza Russell. I remained for supper and afterwards walked home. After I reached home, Tom Painter came down with Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and I tried to ride his bicycle. He went home before eleven o’clock. Esther and I talked until twelve o’clock.
