1896 (Sunday) – About five o’clock in the afternoon, Uncle Jim (James Robert Black) and Aunt Emily Black (Mary Emily Sperry) and children (Lillie May, Jesse Dell, Mary Ann, Charles Ray, Harrison Eugene, William LeRoy and Wilford Rex Black) came down to the farm. After they left, I went up to Salisbury’s. They were going up town to a meeting, so I went with them. It was Young Men’s Conference. We had a lovely meeting, afterwards we came out home.
