1896 (Monday) – In the afternoon I went up town with Art (Arthur David Sperry). I went over to school house and then up to Burton’s. Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and I went down to the Excelsor, then over to the drug store and purchased some carbolic acid. We went over to Hydes Store and back over to the Excelsor. Art and I came down home.
