1896 (Saturday) – About two o’clock, I walked up town, I went to Grandma Sperry’s (Emily Louisa Miller) then down to the new meeting house. I helped Grandpa Sperry (Charles Sperry) play for the kiddies while they danced. Afterwards, May Grover and I went over to the post office. I went up to Burton’s and had supper. Mrs. Burton (Frances Haddy Betenson) and I went down to the store. Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and I went to the dance with Father (Charles Henry Sperry). Art (Arthur David Sperry) went back to Mammoth.
