Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1896 (Wednesday) – In the morning, Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and I went up town. We stopped at Grandma Sperry’s (Emily Louisa Miller). I went down to Hyde’s Store. I returned to Grandmother’s and then went down home. In the afternoon, I again went up town in the buggy to bring Esther home. I went up to Burton’s but Esther was not there. I just stayed long enough to receive a sweet little message she had for me, then I went down to Grandmother’s and Esther and I came back home.
