1897 (Sunday) – Melvin (Henry Melvin Sperry) took me up to Sunday School. Afterwards, Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and I went over to the post office. We met Lon Lunt and walked back up home with him, on our way looking back we saw our brother Lon (Charles Alonzo Sperry) walking up the street, Esther went back to meet him, he had just come from Mammoth. I had dinner up to Burton’s. In the afternoon I went down to Foote’s for a lesson. I slept up to Burton’s. Lon slept there too.
