1897 (Sunday) – I went down to Nortonville Sunday School. I went down to Noble’s and had dinner and spent the afternoon there. About sundown Nellie Noble brought me home in their buggy, she let me out at the top of our land as I started down the lane someone called to me I turned and went back and found out it was Zoa Christensen, Jennie Kendall (Lydia Jane Kendall) and Brig Garrett. I talked to them for a few minutes and then came home.
