Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1903 (Monday) – The Hackman called and took us to the train. Our visit was over, so bidding goodbye to the folks, we started for home. Our trip was much pleasanter now than when we went over, the train even stopped to let us off at Father’s (Charles Henry Sperry) home. We had dinner there, then the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr. and Lillian Lunt) and I went home. We went in Grandma Lunt’s (Priscilla Pitt) and had supper there. Tonight I am tired and weary. We enjoyed our visit very much, but we were glad to be home again.
