1904 (Friday) – It rained all day today. Saturday it has been both raining and snowing. Baby (Charles Gilbert Lunt) is getting so he can sit upon the bed alone for a minute or two. This evening I pulled a tooth for Ruth (Eva Ruth Sperry). I had quite a time to get Lillian (LIllian Lunt) to bed tonight she was tired and cross and was bound she would not go to bed. I first tried putting her inside the cellar door, but didn’t shut the door, she then let me put her gown on. Then when I was going to put her in bed, she cried so hard I drew her attention to the little girl crying in the glass and asked her to laugh and see if the little girl would also laugh, she was soon all smiles and in about five minutes was sound asleep.
