1904 (Thursday) – Sister McCune came over to take care of me and Mother (Caroline Webb) came over and helped me all morning. My sister Lillian (Lillian May Sperry) thinks married is a hard life. Little Bert (Charles Gilbert Lunt) is as good as can be, he doesn’t cry for me at all. I am writing this while in bed. Emma Wood came up for a few minutes, Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and Retta (Retta Sperry) came over and went downtown for me.
