1904 (Thursday) – Blanch Jenkins stayed with my children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian and Charles Gilbert Lunt) after school while I went downtown. Afterwards Mrs. Jenkins and I took a ride in their little cart with the donkey hitched to it. We went to Paces’ after Oscar’s (Alfred Oscar Lunt) valise. When we got back, Jen (Jennie Teasdale) was here. In the valise was a lovely suit of clothes for Alfred. Later in the evening, Oscar came home. I walked a ways with Jen when she went home.
