1905 (Wednesday) – I made my first batch of soap and had good luck with it. In the evening Oscar (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took us for a drive, we were hunting for a house. Oscar is going to be a traveling man for a wholesale house drug company and he will be away from home nearly all the time, so I will have to move again, as we don’t like to live way down here alone, but I do dread to leave here as it is so nice for the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian and Charles Gilbert Lunt).
