1905 (Thursday) – We went shopping and called on Sister C. H. Bird and Friday we took a walk out to the cemetery. As we were Mrs. Steve Barton’s she came to the door and proffered us the use of her baby buggy which we gratefully accepted. I thought it so kind of her to a stranger for I had met her but once.
