1905 (Thursday) – I went to Relief Meeting. I only wish I might always have the same spirit to be with me that was at that meeting, it was indeed a treat to be there. Sister Cazier (Sarah Ann Cazier) said the time would come when we would not be divided on politics, but this people would all be united together to withstand the enemy. She spoke of how Salt Lake was growing of the large railroads that were centering there, said the hand of the Lord was in it all, said the noble and the wealthy people would come there and bring their wealth to adorn her fair head. After meeting, I went out to Mrs. Orme’s as she is sick in bed. I feel so sorry for her as she has such poor health.
