1905 (Wednesday) – We washed. It has been quite stormy today. This evening Clara (Clara Golden) has gone out to spend the evening, her cousin Myrtle Golden was here for supper. I am here alone, the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian, Charles Gilbert and Eva Ruth Lunt) are all in bed. It does seem good after working hard all day to have the little ones in bed and have an hour or two of quiet.
