1905 (Tuesday) – In the forenoon, Ada Wood brought her two children over to our home for us to tend while she went down town. I was preparing some picnic to take to the program in the afternoon, and Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.)  was crying most all morning with the tooth-ache. By the time I had to go (two o’clock, I was almost beside myself with the noise and confusion. Alfred’s tooth became better and so he went down to Will Jenkins to spend the afternoon, Belva came after him. Clara (Clara Golden) kept Lillian (Lillian Lunt) and Bert (Charles Gilbert Lunt) and I took baby Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) and went to the program. We had an interesting program and afterwards, I helped serve refreshments. Baby was very good. Afterwards I went down to Grandma Lunt’s (Priscilla Pitt) and stayed until it was time to go to the dance. Grandma and I went to the dance together.
