1905 (Monday) – Christmas Day. Oh how happy the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian, Charles Gilbert and Eva Ruth Lunt) are this day of all days, they were up before daylight and their eyes danced with glee when they saw all lit up with candles. They seemed very pleased with their toys.
We all went down to Grandma Lunt’s (Priscilla Pitt) for dinner, and spent a most enjoyable afternoon, had supper there and came home in Uncle Charles Grace’s (Charles Howard Grace) Surrey.
My husband (Alfred Oscar Lunt) was home until Thursday the 28th. In the afternoon I went to Relief Society. Afterwards I went down to Grandma Lunt’s for a little while. I was away from home for three hours and the baby was good all the time.
