1906 (Saturday) – In the afternoon I took Bert (Charles Gilbert Lunt) and went to a Teacher’s Institute in the Tabernacle. In the evening, Pearl (Eva Pearl Sperry) and Edie Tranter stayed with the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian, Charles and Eva Ruth Lunt) while I attended a basketball game between Nephi High and Lehi High School. Lehi beat by one point. Clara (Clara Golden) and I went with Father (Charles Henry Sperry) and we stayed until the dance was over. Eva cried nearly all the time I was gone.
