1907 (Monday) – Pearl (Eva Pearl Sperry) came down and helped me wash. In the evening, I went to a surprise on Uncle Shed Lunt (Shadrach James Lunt). We had a fine time, I don’t think I ever laughed so hard for a long time, as I did at some of the things they did and said. A nice lunch was served. It was after one o’clock when I reached home. Pearl slept with the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian, Charles Gilbert and Eva Ruth Lunt).
