1916 (Friday) – It is Mother’s (Caroline Webb) birthday today. My husband (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took me up in his car to see her before he left to go up north. It was my first trip out doors and it did seem good to get out once more. Aunt Ann Lunt (Ann Pitt) came over to let me read a letter she had.
