1916 (Thursday) – Am feeling pretty good after my party. When I got home last night, found Arthur (George Arthur Lunt) feeling sick, but this morning he seemed better. I let Della (Della Shaw) go home for the afternoon and night. After she left, Arthur went to sleep, but when he woke up he had a fever and feels quite sick. It made it very hard for me, Della not being here to help, Pearl (Eva Pearl Sperry) was here about an hour.
