1916 (Tuesday) – The hack came to take Grandma (Priscilla Pitt) to the temple and I rode up with them. I was washed and anointed for the restoration of my health. Grandma Lunt did the washing and another sister the anointing. We were taken to the office of President Anderson, where he sealed what the sisters had done. I know I received a blessing there that day. I rode down from the temple with Brother Rob Winn in his car. We all had dinner at Grandma Lunt’s, then they took me down to Uncle Harry Sperry’s (Miles Harrison Sperry). I slept there that night.
