1945 (Sunday) – I visited Sunday School and Fast Meeting. I enjoyed both very much, the same sweet spirit was there. The Sunday School teacher asked my name, that members of the class might know who the stranger was who was in their midst and after church many sisters came to me and wanted to know how Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) was. She certainly has lots of friends, I bore my testimony in Fast Meeting.
Before I left, Eva was on the improve. Her fever was down, her finger is improving, but still a very bad finger, they may have to remove it at the first joint. She looked so much better, laughing and talking with us and seems to be on the road to recovery.
