Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1945 (Thursday) – I attended Brother Bennett’s class. Afterwards, I talked to him and was told that I could not work among the books in the library anymore, but must take my place among those in the reading room and call for what books I need. That was the hardest thing I have had to take, after almost twenty years of hardest faithful service, not one privilege can be granted me, I’m simply not one of them anymore.

I was granted the privilege to work there that day and I checked on our bishop line and copied material for Dorothy (Dorothy Snader) on her Eby line.
