Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1945 (Saturday) – Felt quite a bit better, was able to eat some food. In the evening, George Holman (George Thornton Holman) phoned his parent’s (George Eber Holman and Alice Menetta Thornton) and said Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) is feeling better, she is taking more nourishment and the doctors are quite encouraged. Sister Smith (Eliza B.) came over and she rubbed me good, my chest, with turpentine and lard. I sure appreciated it.
