1945 (Sunday) – I attended the teacher’s training class and later Sunday School. I taught the class the time went so quickly we didn’t get near through so Grace (Grace Ensign) wants me to continue it next Sunday, instructions on the family group record.
About twelve thirty or quarter to one, Father and I went up to Clearfield to see Bert’s (Charles Gilbert Lunt) family. It was a beautiful day, almost like summer. We found the children (Patricia Jean, Mary Elizabeth, Robert Gordon and Judith Ann Lunt) home, but Bert and Agnes (Agnes Coalter Golightly) had gone down to Salt Lake to see us. We stayed there an hour or two, by that time, they returned and we visited with them for two hours. Agnes has been very ill. Neuritis, was in bed for three weeks. She is still feeling quite miserable.
We enjoyed our trip very much. In the evening I wrote to George (George Thornton Holman), Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) and Sister Olpin.
