Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1945 (Thursday) – Agnes (Agnes Coalter Golightly) and Earl’s (Earl Sperry Lunt) birthday. We have the most beautiful snow storm vines and trees all covered with a white garment. Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took me up to the Genealogical Society, that night I attended Brother Bennett’s class. I enjoyed it very much, showing proof of people in our country tracing their lines back for hundreds of years. Some of the proofs of such connections are made through: Wills, Deeds, Feet of fines, Inquisitions Post Mortem, Marriage settlements, Visitation pedigrees, monumental inscriptions, Coat of Arms, etc. We must watch every little detail and its effect on our problem.

The highest of Lords id the Highest Court, to have a membership in the House of Lords bear a title.

Brother Bennett said he might as well quit calling my name, someone spoke up and said Sister Lunt is here, he hadn’t noticed I was present and it had been several weeks since I was there, I suppose he thought I had quit.

It started to snow so I went home instead of remaining to work awhile.
