1945 (Thursday) – Father (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took me up to the library to attend Brother Bennett’s class, but he didn’t have a class. The workers are having a contest, It Research, and it was decided to omit the class, that we might continue their work as the contest ends Saturday. My, I’m glad I am not in it as I don’t feel equal to such a thing. I worked in the Index Bureau checking on the Eby line.
