Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1945 (Tuesday) – Was busy around all morning. Felt a little tired after my days gadding. Afternoon, I went to Relief Society. The lesson was given by Ileene Bagley. They are studying early church history. It makes one think, seriously, when you hear terrible things the early saints had to endure and how those early leaders when called to do missionary work would get out of sick beds and start on their missions, sometimes leaving members of their household ill and almost destitute, so great was their confidence in the help they knew they would all receive from their Heavenly Father.

After the lesson, there was testimony bearing.
