1945 (Wednesday) – In the afternoon, attended the funeral of Brother Erekson, held in the Taylor Mortuary. There must have been nearly three hundred people present, there were a lot of lovely flowers. In this neighborhood over seven dollars were gathered, but instead of getting flowers with it, the money will be given to Sister Erekson when she returns to her home, as she intends coming back to our neighborhood to live as she loves her neighbors and it is close to the Temple. Evening – I met Lillian (Lillian Lunt) at the Center Theater and we went to a show, she came down and slept with me.
