Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1945 (Saturday) – This was a tired day, scarcely accomplished anything. Received a letter from Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) and Mary (Mary Etta George), written by Mary. They are both very busy and some days they scarcely see each other when his hours are while she is at home. She attends night school as well as working.

After dinner, we rode out to Della’s (Della Lunt), Teddy’s (Ted Lunt Gabbitas) a cute little thing, but has a mind of his own, he goes around and around for several minutes, he will go one way then turn and go another way, until you would think he would get dizzy and fall, if he does, he gets up and tries it again, doesn’t bother him any. Darlene’s (Darlene Lunt Holman) birthday.
