1945 (Monday) – Cleaned my front room closet, afterwards I went to the library, but was so tired and sleepy I couldn’t do much work, shopped and returned home. Received a paper from Lillian’s (Lillian Lunt) folks, an Ontario paper, in which was a picture of Donald (Donald Snader) sitting up in bed shaking hands with the Lieutenant Colonel who had just presented him with the Purple Heart. Evening – Met with the bishopric in the last meeting of the season. The Genealogical Committee furnished the program, refreshments and games. All seemed to enjoy themselves
