1945 (Friday) – Went to the Temple to place Eva’s (Eva Ruth Lunt) name on the prayer roll, visited the bank, had lunch at the Lion House, went to the book store and purchased a copy of the combination, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price and sent to Jean Snader for a graduation gift. Went over in town to purchase tickets for the Deseret Players theater for Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and Me. Went to several stores to try and find a pattern for Della (Della Lunt). Met Vera (Vera Lucille Daley/Sperry) in town and she went with me to The Paris. Afterwards I went to the library and worked an hour.
Evening – Esther and I went to the theater.
