1945 (Friday) – I went to town early, then cleaned my two front rooms. Uncle Charles Grace (Charles Howard Grace) called over the phone. He was in the city and expected to return to Nephi very soon, so had no opportunity to come and see us. Evening – Port (Porty Lewis Gabbitas) and Della (Della Lunt) went to a picture show and left Teddy (Ted Lunt Gabbitas) with us, he doesn’t like to stay alone with us, it’s too lonesome I guess. Brother Marion L. Thomas and Brother Bagley came as ward teachers.
